From November 1st the Shore House will be operating as a licensed guest house, with evening meals and drinks for residents only. We will be upgrading the facilities and a major feature will be our loch view lounge and dining area with comfy sofas, wood burning stove and one of the most stunning loch views.
Relax and enjoy good food, comfortable rooms, glorious views and a warm welcome at the Shore House Inn at the head of Loch Goil in Lochgoilhead.
The Shore House - Lochside Restaurant and Hotel. Situated within Loch Lomond and the Trossach National Park and the Argyll Forest Park, Lochgoilhead is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful west coast. It's off the beaten track yet easily accessible; just 90 minutes from Glasgow centre or Oban.
The Shore House Inn was built in the 1850's as the parish manse and sits in a prime position at the head of Loch Goil.
View over Loch Goil
The modern timber framed restaurant features a wood-burning oven, 'open kitchen' and stunning view of the loch, its bobbing boats and the surrounding mountains. In contrast the wee bar, originally the cart shed, is traditionally styled.
